Wanton Mee.

Hey Canton Wonton Noodle serves Hong Kong-style wanton mee with shrimp wanton dumplings and noodles, served in a bowl of soup.

For those who are not familar with Hong Kong, the noodles are served in soup by default. The tossed noodles do not come with any special seasoning, but with a dollop of oyster sauce on the side.

The shrimp wanton is petite-size compared to the ones normally found in Hong Kong. It has a soft skin wrapping up a filling of shrimps, and tastes decent. The noodles is firm and springy, and tastes pretty decent too. As for the soup, it is flavourful with a pleasant savoury taste, and it comes with some vegetables. Optional pork lard can be added to it. An optional chilli oil with crunchy chilli bits is also provided on the side.

Although not 100% authentic, its flavours are about 80% close to Hong Kong’s flavours and it tastes not bad.
