Cai Png.

Hong Heng Mixed Veg Rice serves cai png with a selection of mains and sides. The cai png, above, comes with fried nam yu pork, french fries with lap cheong and stir-fried bean sprouts, served with rice and curry sauce.

The fried nam yu pork is meaty with some soft fatty parts. It is deep fried to a nice crisp and has nice nam yu flavours. The french fries are stired-fried with some lap cheong and glazed in a sweet-tasting sauce. The stir-fried bean sprouts, contain carrot shreds and spring onions, is moist and crunchy with a light savoury taste. The rice has a firm texture and has some curry sauce added.

This serving of cai png tastes decent.
