Fishball Noodles & Bak Chor Mee

Huang Da Fu is a noodle stall that operates 24 hours serving fishball noodles and bak chor mee with the usual choices of noodles. Shown here is mee kia fishball noodles and mee pok bak chor mee. Both comes with a bowl of nicely flavoured clear soup on the side.

The fishball noodles comes with fishballs, fish cake slices, minced meat, vegetables and lard bits. The mee kia is quite springy and tastes nice with the seasoning mixture of vinegar, soya sauce and chilli. Fishballs and fish cake slices are standard fare, tastes decent and quite springy.

Likewise the mee pok is quite springy with nice tastes of the seasoning mixture. Instead of fishballs, the bak chor mee comes with slices of pork and pork liver, pork balls, minced meat, mushrooms, vegetables and lard. The portions are quite generous and the mushrooms tastes nice.

Both fishball noodles and bak chor mee are excellent options for a hearty meal. As this stall operates 24 hours, it is a good place for a late night meal. Thumbs up!
