Fishball Noodles.

Hup Kee Teochew Fishball Mee serves fishball noodles with a choice of noodles. As shown above is their mee pok option. It comes with a bowl of soup containing fishballs, fish cake slices, fish dumplings, and teochew meatball.

The fishballs are soft and smooth with a savoury taste. The fish cake is smooth and springy. Both of them have a pleasant fish taste. The fish dumpling is rather smooth with a soft meaty filling. The teochew meatball is soft, but firmer than the fishballs, and is quite flavourful. The mee pok is tossed in a mixture of vinegar and chilli sauce, topped with chopped spring onions and fried shallots. The noodles is firm and springy with a savoury taste, but it is a little too salty for my taste buds.

However, overall this serving of fishball mee pok tastes not bad.
