Yong Tau Foo.

The signature hakka yong tau foo noodles features a bowl of nicely flavoured yong tau foo soup containing eggplant, bitter gourd, tofu, meatball and tau kee. A bowl of tossed hakka mee topped with minced meat is served alongside.

Both the eggplant and bittergourd are soft, with the bitter gourd having a bitter taste. The tofu is soft and fairly smooth. They are all stuffed with a soft and flavourful meaty filling. The meatball is soft and meaty with pleasant flavours, and the tau kee is firm with a piece of tofu skin wrapping a soft and flavourful meaty filling. A limey-tasting chilli dip is provided on the side.

The tossed hakka mee is firm and springy, with decent seasoning flavours, and the minced meat toppings are flavourful.

This serving of hakka yong tau foo noodles tastes not bad.
