Cai Png

Long Ji Cooked Food serves cai png with a decent selection of mains and sides. Seen above is with sweet sour pork, fried fish fillet, stir fried bean sprouts and fried egg served with rice and curry.

The sweet sour pork is firm and meaty, but its deep fried crust is soft and not crispy. It is glazed in a decent tasting sauce. The fried fish fillet has a crispy batter with soft and savoury fish meat. However it is a bit overly salty. The stir fried bean sprouts is crunchy and moist with savoury flavours. The fried egg has crispy whites and a cooked yolk, and is oily. The white rice is firm and the curry has decent flavours with a mild note of spiciness.

Although not exactly good, this cai png is still pretty alright.
