Cai Png

Hock Heng Cooked Food serves cai png with a selection of mains and sides. The selection above is with sweet sour pork, potato slices and stir fried bean sprouts.

The sweet sour pork is firm and meaty with a mildly sweet taste. Comes with some pineapple and cucumber slices. The deep fried crust is not crispy though. The potato is soft, and the bean sprouts is crunchy with a faint note of smokiness. It comes wtih some carrot shreds and spring onions. These are served with plain white rice with some curry sauce added. The curry potato is soft and has nice flavours of curry with a note of savoury.

This serving of cai png tastes decent and is rather good value for money.
