The hainanese chicken is smooth and meaty with a soft and smooth skin. The roast chicken has a savoury taste, is smooth and meaty, and has a soft flavourful skin. The slices of chicken meat are not deboned, and are served on a plate with soya sauce seasoning, along with a few slices of cucumber and topped with coriander leaves.

The serving of rice is firm and mildly flavourful. A bowl of decently flavoured vegetables soup is served on the side. An optional chilli sauce and minced ginger sauce is also available.

Both the hainanese chicken and roast chicken taste not bad.
