Cai Png

Mang Cheng Xiang Curry Rice is a cai png stall offering a fairly wide selection of mains and sides. Above is with sweet sour pork, curry chicken, egg tofu and fried egg served with rice and curry sauce.

The sweet sour pork is meaty with a mild sweet taste and a slightly crispy fried crust. The curry chicken drumstick is soft and meaty with very smooth and flavourful skin. The curry potato is rather soft too. The egg tofu is soft and has nice savoury flavours, and the fried egg has a cooked yolk with crispy sides. These are served with rice and a nicely flavoured curry sauce.

This serving of cai png tastes rather nice.
