Nasi Lemak Hijau

serves just a couple of dishes, nasi lemak and mee siam. Both of them taste nice.

The nasi lemak is served with a piece of fried chicken wing, a fried egg, a side of ikan bilis and peanuts, and a helping of green pandan rice. A begedil is added to it.

The fried chicken wing is moist and meaty, with a lightly coated fried batter that is slightly crispy. The fried egg has a soft yolk and crispy whites, while the peanuts are crunchy and ikan bilis is crispy. The begedil features a soft and flavourful potato filling coating in a slightly crispy egg coating. The green tinted pandan rice is fragrant and flavourful. A dollop of spicy and slightly limey tasting chilli paste is provided on the side, along with a slice of cucumber.

This serving of nasi lemak tastes rather nice.

The mee siam has a rather pleasant tasting gravy that is slightly limey and slightly sweet, with some tiny grated peanut bits. It comes with a boiled egg, some tau pok pieces, a piece of green lime and chopped spring onions. The mee siam tastes not bad too.
