Grilled Chicken.

No Ordinary Chicken does grilled chicken in six different flavours: curry, black pepper, dry chilli, satay, shallot and green chilli. These are served with white rice. An extra top-up option for briyani rice is also available.

Curry.

The grilled chicken is meaty and flavourful with crispy edges. This is paired with a curry sauce that is spicy and flavourful. The briyani rice is fluffy and intensely flavourful with various spices and a light note of spiciness. A side of crunchy achar with a light refreshing note of limey is also provided. The grilled chicken with curry sauce tastes not bad, while the briyani rice option is absolutely enjoyable and highly recommended.

Black Pepper.

The black pepper option of grilled chicken features a black pepper sauce that is peppery with notes of savoury and sweet. It contains tiny bits of crunchy onions. The black pepper option tastes nice.

Dry Chilli.

The dry chilli version of grilled chicken comes topped with a spicy chilli sauce that is very nicely flavoured. It pairs really well with the grilled chicken. It is a good option for those who like it spicy. I like it!

Satay.

The grilled chicken is also available paired with a peanut satay sauce. It is nutty with crunchy peanuts and a mild spicy profile. It is somewhat similar to eating chicken satay. I like this option too.

Shallot.

The shallot option features crunchy onions, chopped chilli and lemongrass. It has a refreshing limey profile with a mild note of spiciness. Quite likeable.

Green Chilli.

The green chilli version of grilled chicken is topped with a fresh tasting green chilli sauce that is a little tangy and slightly spicy. It tastes nice too.

Chicken Curry.

The chicken curry comes with a piece of chicken drumstick and potato, served in a bowl of spicy and flavourful curry sauce. The curry chicken drumstick is tender, meaty and flavourful. The curry potato is soft and flavourful. It goes well with both plain rice and briyani. Not bad.
