Fried Hokkien Mee.
The fried hokkien mee is the wet type that is soaking in a broth. The yellow noodles and mee hoon mixture is wok-fried with egg, bean sprouts, spring onions, and simmered in a broth with prawns, sotong and pork belly added.
The prawns are quite large and taste fresh, the sotong is firm and chewy, and the pork belly is firm and meaty with some soft fatty parts. The fried hokkien mee is firm and springy, with flavourful hints of prawns and wok hei. A very spicy chilli sauce, a piece of green lime and some crispy pork lard are provided on the side.
This serving of fried hokkien mee is good! Very satisfying.

The fried kway teow features a mixture of kway teow and yellow noodles, wok-fried with egg, bean sprouts, vegetables, see hum, lap cheong and fish cake.
The see hum is rather plump and tastes decent. The lap cheong is firm and sweet, and the fish cake is soft and smooth. The fried kway teow is firm and springy with nice flavourings containing subtle sweetness and lovely smokey undertones of wok hei. Truly enjoyable!
