Ngo Hiang.

Quan Xing Spicy Prawn Crackers serves a variety of ngo hiang pieces. As shown above are, ngo hiang, yam roll, crispy prawn cracker, prawn cake and pork sausage, served with a plate of fried mee hoon and two dipping sauces.

The ngo hiang has a soft, meaty and flavourful filling containing some crunchy water chestnut bits, while the yam roll is crispy outside with soft and flavourful yam filling inside. The crispy prawn cracker has small crispy shrimps within its crispy batter and tastes nice. The prawn cake has a piece of crispy prawn topping its firm batter with soft insides and tastes of bean sprouts. The pork sausage is firm, meaty and pleasantly flavoured with a mild hint of sweet.

The plate of assorted ngo hiang is served with a garlicky and spicy chilli sauce, and a starchy sweet sauce. Both pair well with the ngo hiang pieces. As for the fried mee hoon, it is moist and nicely flavoured with some garlic bits and bean sprouts.

This serving of ngo hiang and fried mee hoon tastes nice, and is enjoyable.
