Wanton Mee

ROI By Thanya is a stall selling thai style wanton mee in either soup or dry versions. Seen here is their dry wanton mee which comes with slices of char siew, wanton and some vegetables served on a bowl of stirred noodles and topped with fried shallots, chopped spring onions and lots of crispy lard.

The char siew slices are soft and meaty with a little bit of fatty bits. It has nice bbq flavours and a hint of sweet. The wanton are the boiled type with soft skin wrapper and nicely flavoured meat fillings. The noodles is springy with nice flavours of soya sauce based seasoning, and the generous amount of crispy lard is a very nice touch. Comes served with a bowl of very nicely flavoured and peppery tasting soup containing pieces of radish cubes. This is a very enjoyable bowl of wanton mee. Love it!
