Old Airport Road Food Centre Singapore

Sky JB Mian Fen Kueh

is a fairly popular stall selling an assortment of handmade noodles. Decently nice.

Ban Mian

Sky JB Mian Fen Kueh sells an assortment of handmade noodles. Shown here is their ban mian which comes with fishballs, minced meatballs, some vegetables and topped with crispy ikan bilis. An egg and dumplings are added as extras.

The fishball is soft and smooth, mildly springy and has a nice light savoury tastes. The minced meatball is soft and juicy with nice meaty and savoury flavours. The ikan bilis has nice savoury flavours and is crispy. As for the dumpling, it has a soft skin wrapper with soft and juicy meat fillings with a nice flavourings with a hint of ginger. It is nice, and a recommended add on.

The ban main noodles is soft but firm, and the soup is a nice clear light savoury flavoured soup. The added egg is soft with watery yolk and mostly intact. This is definitely an enjoyable bowl of ban mian. I like it.
