Prawn Mee

This prawn mee comes with slices of prawns, pork and fish cake served atop a bowl of tossed mee pok. A small bowl of decently flavoured soup is provided on the side.

The prawns are relatively small in size, but they have a decent taste. The pork is firm and meaty, while the fish cake is soft and smooth. The mee pok is fairly smooth and springy with decent seasoning flavours. It comes with some vegetables and bean sprouts and you can add your own chilli powder accordingly.

This serving of prawn mee mee pok tastes alright.

Lor Mee

The lor mee features slices of fish fillet, ngo hiang, briased pork and half a braised egg, served with yellow noodles and bean sprouts in a watery braised sauce that has a decent taste.

The thinly sliced fish fillet, is the kind that is commonly found in supermarket and is soft. The ngo hiang slices are firm and taste decent. The braised pork is tender and meaty with some soft fatty parts, and a decent braised flavours. The braised egg is firm and has an acceptable taste.

This bowl of lor mee tastes rather ordinary, but can still be considered a fairly decent option.
