Fried Carrot Cake

Soon Lee Cooked Food does fried carrot cake using radish cake cubes that is soft and springy. These are pan fried with eggs and chye poh giving it a nice savoury flavour. The fried carrot cake is slightly crispy, and the black version has a slightly sweet taste coming from the added sweet black sauce. The caramelised parts of the black fried carrot cake is nice. Personally I prefer the black fried carrot cake over the white version here, though both are quite likeable in their own way.

Fried Oyster Omelette

The fried oyster omelette is the soft and moist type. The mixture of egg and starch is pan fried with a moist texture with a nice savoury taste, and it is not crispy. Plump and juicy oysters are added to it. Comes served with a limey and watery chilli dip. Although the fried oyster omelette is not crispy, its flavours are quite likeable.
