Cai Png.

Teck Kui Mixed Veg Rice serves cai png with a fair selection of mains and sides. Chosen above is with char siew, minced meatball, chye poh egg and stir fried bean sprouts with tofu cubes, served with rice and curry.

The char siew is soft and meaty with a sweet taste. The minced meatball is soft and meaty. It contains some bits of carrots and onions among its minced meat. Tastes alright but a but dry though. The chye poh egg has crunchy savoury chye poh bits and tastes decent. The stir fried bean sprouts comes with some carrot shreds and some small cubes of tofu. It is crunchy with a decemt savoury taste. The curry sauce is spicy and tastes fairly decent.

All in all, everything in this plate of cai png tastes just decent. Nothing flavourful, but does not taste bad either.
