Double Fish Soup

Teng Ji Fried Fish Soup does fish soups with choice of noodles or rice. The usual sliced fish and fried fish are available. Seen above is their double fish soup with thick mee hoon. It comes with both sliced fish and fried fish with some vegetables and fried egg. Extra fried egg is added for this serving.

The sliced fish is smooth with slightly savoury seasoning flavours. Likewise for the fried fish, savoury tastes with meaty fish meat and a firm fried coating. However the fried fish is soft and no longer crispy. The fried egg has rather nice flavours as well, soaking up the flavourful tastes of the clear soup.

Worth noting, the portions of sliced fish and fried fish given are rather good. Personally I like the sliced fish a bit more, though the fried fish is rather nice too. This double fish mee hoon is quite a decent one.
