Fish Soup

Tian Xiang Ri Ji does fish and seafood soup with various choices of noodles and rice. Shown here is their sliced fish soup with yam rice.

The sliced fish soup comes served in a claypot containing a decently flavoured clear soup with fish slices and some vegetables. The yam rice has rather nice flavours too. It has a mild taste of dried shrimps, though I can’t find any in the rice, with some vegetables and yam bits. A small saucer of spicy and limey tasting chilli comes on the side. It goes quite well with the fish slices. This is quite an enjoyable meal.
