We Porridge does an assortment of porridge with different ingredients. Shown here is their minced pork and peanuts porridge with an added egg. You can add your desired amounts of fried shallots and pepper to the congee.
This congee is smooth with nice flavours and not too salty. The minced pork is soft. Likewise for the peanuts, soft and with a nice braised taste. The pieces of you tiao is unfortunately soft and the egg is kind of overcooked. Personally I prefer my eggs in the porridge slightly raw as it makes the congee tastes even smoother. This is still quite a decently likeable bowl of porridge though.
