Fried Carrot Cake

Yong Xiang Carrot Cake does the usual black and white versions of fried carrot cake. Optional prawns are added to the white version seen above.

This fried carrot cake uses soft mashed cubes of radish cake, pan fried with eggs. Its flavourings are decent but lacks any crispiness. The added prawns are dabbed with optional chilli that has a slightly sweet taste. For the black version of fried carrot cake, sweet black sauce is added giving it a mildly sweet flavour.

Both versions of fried carrot cake are quite ordinary due to their lack of crispiness. It would have been better if they are crispy. Their flavourings are rather decent though.
