Chee Cheong Fun.

Zheng Qi Cantonese Stone Mill Cheong Fun serves a small selection of freshly made chee cheong fun. The standard option includes minced pork and egg, with additional options including prawns, beef and char siew.

The chee cheong fun has meaty minced pork bits, egg and shredded lettuce topped onto its thinly spread rice slurry, before putting into a steamer. The solidified slurry is then folded and cut into slices, served on a plate drenched in a soya sauce seasoning, and topped with sesame seeds. The seasoning sauce contains tiny bits of carrots and mushrooms, is flavourful with a mild note of savoury,and the chee cheong fun has a nice smooth texture.

There are options for prawns, beef and char siew, all with minced pork and egg included. The prawns are small but springy and tastes fairly fresh. The beef slices are tender and flavourful with a savouy tone, and the char siew bits are soft and meaty.

The rice slurry used for the chee cheong fun is freshly made in-house with a stone mill.It is no wonder that all four options, including the standard one, taste so amazingly good!
