serves crispy prawn crackers and an assortment of ngo hiang pieces. Decent.

Ngo Hiang

Zhong Zhong Ngo Hiang Prawn Cracker sells an assortment of ngo hiang pieces. Seen here is their prawn cracker, fishball, yam roll and you tiao with sotong paste filling. Served with a plate of fried mee hoon and a chilli dip.

The prawn cracker contains a couple of small prawns that are deep fried together with the crispy batter. It is airy and flakey. The fishball is firm and springy with smooth meat and nice savoury tastes. Both are nice.

The you tiao with sotong paste is crispy, a bit soft and chewy with mild flavours of sotong paste. The yam roll is crispy but a bit hard. Nice yam flavours though. Both are decent.

The fried mee hoon contains a little bean sprouts and has nice savoury flavours. As for the chilli dip, it is watery with a mildly spicy and limey taste, and topped with grated peanut bits. Goes quite well with the ngo hiang pieces.

This ngo hiang is decent.
