Fried Oyster Omelette

Dong Ling Fu Tanglin Halt Traditional Snacks does nicely flavoured fried oyster omelette. Its eggs and starch mixture are pan fried until it is golden crispy, and the starchy bits are both crispy and chewy. For its price, the handful of oysters are considered quite large size. Tastes nice with the dipping chilli sauce. The only downside, it is a tad oily though.

Fried Kway Teow

This fried kway teow comes with the usual see hum, lap cheong and fish cake with some vegetables and bean sprouts added, stir fried with egg and lard. It has a dry texture with a mild sweetness coming from the sweet sauce. Tastes decent.

Fried Carrot Cake

The fried carrot cake here uses soft radish cake sized into small cubes. The white ones are pan fried with egg like an omelette. Its taste is decent, but its egg isn’t crispy. It would have been really nice if it is crispy.

For the black ones, it has a sweet taste coming from the sweet black sauce added into the same radish cake cubes and fried with eggs. It has small pockets of light crispiness but mostly soft. Tastes alright.

Both versions are just average. Not lousy, but not that nice either.
