Zha Yu Hai Xian Tang does sliced fish soup, fried fish and seafood soup with the usual assortment of noodles. Shown here is their double fish soup with yee mee. It comes with sliced fish, pork balls, tofu cubes and yee mee served in a bowl of fish soup with some vegetables, tomato slices and bitter gourd slices. A plate of fried fish fillet is included on the side.
The fish slices and tofu cubes are quite standard stuff. The pork ball has nice pork meat flavours, is soft and mildly springy. The yee mee is cooked decently springy as well. The soup has fairly nice flavours. As for the fried fish fillet, it has a crispy crust outside with soft and moist flesh inside. It is a tad too salty though. Overall this is still a decent bowl of fish soup noodles.
