Cai Png

Fushan Mixed Vege Rice sells cai png with a decent variety of dishes to choose from. Shown here are with chicken cutlet, sweet sour pork and egg tofu on a plate of rice with curry sauce.

First off, the chicken cutlet. It is moist and crispy with a savoury flavour. The chicken skin is nice with its crispiness but it is a bit too oily. Next, the sweet sour pork. The meat is kind of hard and there is no crispiness to the fried coating. Tastes average. As for the egg tofu, it is just your regular egg tofu dish with a savoury flavoured seasoning sauce. Finally the curry sauce. It is the type of curry that is spicy with no coconut milk flavours. Tastes fairly decent but the portions are quite pitiful. There is simply not enough sauce to mix with the rice. Overall this plate of cai png is quite average and barely passable. There are much better ones in the vicinity.
