Fried Rice

Chef Wang Fried Rice is a popular stall selling egg fried rice and sambal fried rice with topping options of shrimps, pork chop or abalone.

This egg fried rice has a very nice fragrance to it. It is fried with a coating of eggs and some chopped spring onions, giving it a nice golden yellow hue colour and tastes decent too. My only gripe here is that the fried rice has too much moisture and isn’t dry enough. Personally I prefer the drier type of fried rice. The egg fried rice shown above comes with shrimp toppings which tastes fairly fresh. Definitely likeable.

As for the sambal version of their egg fried rice, pork chop is chosen as its topping. The pork chop is soft, tender and juicy with nice flavours. Its outsides has a very nice pan fried light crispiness to it. It is quite nice. As for the sambal egg fried rice, it has a nice fragrant scent with nice spicy sambal flavours. Tastes pretty nice but as usual, there is too much moisture in the fried rice. It would have been a really good plate of fried rice if it is made drier. I still quite like it though.
