Yong Tau Foo

The yong tau foo is available in the usual choices of noodles in either soup or dry version. This is the soup version with yellow noodles and topped with chopped spring onions. The pieces made with fish paste are soft and smooth. The fried stuff are unfortunately soft after soaking in soup. The soup is nice savoury tasting. Comes served with a saucer of sweet sauce and chilli sauce. Decent.

Besides clear soup, laksa gravy can be chosen instead. The laksa gravy is spicy with nice flavourings of dried shrimps, and comes with gravy soaked pieces of tau pok. Some bean sprouts are included with the yellow noodles. the fish paste stuff are soft and smooth and is recommended over the fried pieces. Quite likeable.
