Fried Hokkien Mee

This fried hokkien mee is the wet type with a mixture of yellow noodles and mee hoon with bean sprouts, spring onions and egg added. It contains the usual prawns, sotong and pork belly slices.

The prawn is quite decent and the sotong is rather soft. The pork belly slices is quite soft too, is meaty with some fatty bits. The mixture of yellow noodles and mee hoon is quite springy and its broth has nice savoury tastes.

This fried hokkien mee is topped with crispy lard bits and served with a piece of green limey and a dollop of limey tasting chilli on the side. It is quite likeable.

Fried Mee Sua

This fried mee sua has bean sprouts, some vegetables with pork belly, prawns, fish cake and egg added. It is wok fried with very nice wok hei and smells really good. It is topped with some crispy lard bits, and served with a piece of green lime and a dollop of limey tasting chilli on the side. In my opinion, this tastes better than the fried hokkien mee. I like it.

Hor Fun

This hor fun contains prawns, pork belly and fish cake slices with some vegetables. The hor fun is first wok fried before adding in the underlying sauce. The sauce has starch, egg and garlic bits added giving it a slightly thick texture and nice flavours. This hor fun has very nice smokey flavours of wok hei. Comes topped with crispy lard and served with chopped green chilli on the side. This is definitely a good one in my opinion.
