Hainanese & Roast Chicken Rice

Lai Lai Hainanese Chicken Rice sells the usual hainanese chicken rice and roast chicken rice. This chicken rice comes served with a bowl of lightly savoury soup and a garlicky chilli sauce.

The hainanese chicken is meaty and moist. Unfortunately mine doesn’t come with any skin and can’t tell if its skin is any good. For the roast chicken, it is meaty as well with a somewhat dry skin. Both are served on a plate with a mildly sweet tasting soya sauce seasoning and a few slices of cucumber. As for the rice, it is quite firm and flavourful.

This is just another regular tasting chicken rice that is quite ordinary. However it is still quite a decent one.
