Hainanese Curry Rice

Yap Hainanese Curry Rice does hainanese curry rice with a nice selection of dishes to choose from. Seen here is their pork chop, fried prawns, fried egg and bean sprouts with rice and curry sauce.

The pork chop is the thicker type. It is meaty and flavourful, but not crispy. The fried prawns, on the other hand, is the star here. It has a very crispy fried batter wrapping a whole prawn. Very good and highly recommended.

The fried bean sprouts has some spring onions and carrot shreds, and tastes decent. The fried egg is quite normal though. The plain white rice is firm and has a curry sauce and a braised sauce added to it. The curry sauce is mildly spicy with pretty nice flavours.

This plate of hainanese curry rice is quite enjoyable. I truly like their fried prawns. Thumbs up!
