Hainanese & Roast Chicken Rice

Yong Kee Different Taste Hainanese Chicken Rice serves the usual choice of hainanese chicken and roast chicken with rice. Above is with both hainanese chicken and roast chicken.

Both the hainanese chicken and roast chicken has meaty flesh. The hainanese chicken has a rather smooth and soft skin, and the roast chicken has a decently flavoured skin. These slices of boneless chicken are served on a plate with a mildly sweet soya sauce seasoning and some cucumber slices.

The rice is has a nice firm texture, is fragrant and flavourful. The soup that is served is a savoury flavoured vegetables soup. As for the chilli sauce, it is the usual watery type of spicy and garlicky tasting chilli meant for hainanese chicken rice.

This plate of chicken rice is actually quite likeable. Thumbs up.

Char Siew & Siu Yuk Rice

Besides chicken rice, Yong Kee Different Taste Hainanese Chicken Rice does char siew and siu yuk too.

The char siew is soft and meaty with a slightly sweet taste. The siu yuk is meaty as well and fairly soft too, with a slightly savoury taste and a slightly crispy skin. Comes with choice of plain rice of flavoured chicken rice. Both their char siew and siu yuk are rather decent too.
