Wanton Mee

Bee Kee Wanton Noodle serves the regular kind of wanton mee and a truffle oil wanton mee. Seen above is their traditional wanton mee which comes with slices of char siew and wanton served on a plate of tossed noodles. A bowl of ikan bilis flavoured soup is provided on the side.

The char siew slices are the lean meat type. It is meaty with a sweet taste. However it is rather dry. The wanton has a soft skin wrapper with a nice savoury tasting meat filling inside. The wanton is nice.

The tossed noodles is springy with nice savoury seasoning flavours, and served with some vegetables. It is worth mentioning that the noodles is really flavourful and I like it. This wanton mee would have be a lovely one if not for its dry char siew. Will be back for their truffle wanton mee. Watch this space for an update.
