Hainanese Curry Rice

Beach Road Scissor-Cut Curry Rice serves hainanese curry rice with a selection of mains and sides. Above is with pork chop, bean sprouts, fried egg and prawn roll. The prawn roll is an extra add-on.

First, the pork chop. It has a fairly crispy breaded crust, soft and meaty inside with nice seasoning flavours. Next, the fried bean sprouts. It is moist and crunchy with nice flavourings. Contains some carrot shreds and spring onions. The fried egg is quite normal though, cooked yolk with slightly crispy whites. As for the prawn roll, it has a slightly crispy beancurd skin outside with a soft and savoury meat filling inside.

These are served on a plate of rice with lots of curry sauce and a bit of braised sauce. The curry sauce is mildly spicy and flavourful. This hainanese curry rice is nice. I like it.
