Double Fish Soup

Halim’s Fish Soup is a halal chain store serving various kinds of fish soups. Above is their double fish soup with yee mee noodles.

The sliced fish is rather smooth, and the fried fish is meaty with a chewy crust. However its fried crust is no longer crispy. The yee mee is a bit soft but still fairly springy. Comes with some vegetables and bitter gourd. Some shredded fried egg and crispy fried shallots are added as toppings. Its soup is has decent savoury tastes.

This bowl of double fish yee mee tastes alright.
