Fried Carrot Cake

89 Carrot Cake dishes out traditional old school style fried carrot cake. This fried carrot cake using soft lumps of radish cake pan fried with chye poh and lots of eggs added.

Both the white and black fried carrot cake are pan fried crispy outside and soft inside. Lots of eggs are added with nice savoury flavours from the chye poh. The black version has sweet black sauce added giving it a slightly sweet taste. I am quite pleasantly surprised that even after adding in the sweet black sauce, the black fried carrot cake is still crispy! The black version seems to be a more popular choice with the crowd, though the white one is good too.

This fried carrot cake is wonderfully good, and I like them both! Both thumbs up!
