Fried Kway Teow

Ang Mo Kio Fried Kway Teow is a popular stall serving fried kway teow. It comes with the usual see hum, fish cake slices and lap cheong slices wok fried with kway teow, yellow noodles, bean sprouts and eggs.

The see hum are rather small but still considered decent. The fish cake is soft and springy, and the lap cheong has a nice sweet taste. As for the fried kway teow itself, the mixture of kway teow and yellow noodles has a moist texture with a slightly sweet taste from the added sweet black sauce. The yellow noodles is springy and the kway teow is rather smooth. It is wok fried with some bean sprouts and loads of eggs, as well as crispy pork lard.

This fried kway teow has excellent wok hei with a smoky taste that still lingers on for a while in your mouth. It is flavourful and absolutely tasty. In my opinion, it is definitely one of the best fried kway teow in Singapore. Love it!
