Fried Carrot Cake

Tanglin Halt A1 Carrot Cake does fried carrot cake using small radish cake cubes that are soft. It is fried with eggs with some chye poh added. The fried carrot cake is served topped with chopped spring onions.

This fried carrot cake is the soft type and isn’t crispy at all. It has nice savoury flavours coming from the added chye poh. The black version has sweet black sauce added, giving it a note of sweetness, and it seem to be the more popular choice. Although the fried carrot cake isn’t crispy, it is still quite likeable. Both versions are nice in their own way.
