Lor Mee

A selection of lor mee is available here. Above is their fried fish lor mee. This bowl of lor mee comes with pieces of fried fish and half a braised egg, with thick yellow noodles and some bean sprouts served with starchy sauce.

The fried fish has a nice crispy batter and soft meat. It is nice. The braised egg has light braised flavours, and the starchy braised sauce is decently flavourful. Rather likeable, especially the fried fish.

Prawn Mee

This prawn mee comes with prawns, fish cake slices and pork belly slices, topped with some crispy lard pieces and fried shallots. For this, I have chosen the soup version with a mixture of yellow noodles and mee hoon.

The prawn is of decent size and tastes decent. The pork belly is soft and meaty with some fatty parts, and the fish cake is soft and smooth. The mixture of noodles and mee hoon is quite springy and comes with some bean sprouts and vegetables. The soup is a bit light on the flavours but still tastes decent.
