Lor Mee

Chuan Bee Lor Mee serves lor mee containing fried fish nuggets, fried meatballs, pork belly and fish cake, with thick yellow noodles and bean sprouts served in a fairly thick and starchy sauce.

The fried fish nugget has chunk of soft meaty fish meat wrapped in a fairly crispy deep fried batter. It is quite flavourful. The fried meatball is firm and meaty, tastes nice and has a nice crispy deep fried skin. The braised pork has light braised flavours, is soft and meaty with some fatty parts. The fish cake has nice fish taste, is decently smooth and springy.

These are served in a bowl of thick yellow noodles with some bean sprouts. The braised sauce is nicely flavoured. It is fairly thick and starchy. You can add your own chilli, vinegar etc to the lor mee.

This bowl of lor mee tastes nice. I like it.
