Satay

Huiji Satay serves chicken and pork satay, and ketupat. It is served with some cucumber slices and onion bits. A bowl of satay sauce is provided on the side.

Both the chicken and pork satay has soft and tender meats, with the pork meat slightly meatier and firmer in texture. The satay has a very nice seasoning flavours with a tint of sweet. Personally I would have preferred the satay cooked with a bit more caramelised parts, but this is still a likeable satay.

The ketupat is firm and rather large in size. As for the satay sauce, it thick and has very rich nutty flavours and a tint of mild spiciness. Contains crunchy tiny bits of grated peanuts. Likeable.

BBQ Chicken Wings

BBQ chicken wings is available as well. This BBQ chicken wing has a very nice flavourful seasoning that has a tint of sweet. Its flesh is moist and meaty. However its skin isn’t crispy. It is still nice though.
