Fried Carrot Cake

26 Carrot Cake serves fried carrot cake in the usual black and white options. Above is their yuan yang that comes with both black and white versions.

This fried carrot cake uses firm cubes of radish cake, pan fried with eggs and chye poh. The white version is not the flat pancake type. It is similar to the usual black version of fried carrot cake just without the sweet black sauce added. The small cubes of radish cake are pan fried with eggs and chye poh, giving this fried carrot nice savoury flavours. The black version has sweet black sauce added, providing an extra faint note of sweetness to the fried carrot cake. The black fried carrot cake has a likeable mild crispiness to it, which is lacking in the white fried carrot cake.

Personally I like the black version of fried carrot cake here. The extra crispiness and light tone of sweet is nice. Thumbs up for the black fried carrot cake.
