Fried Carrot Cake

Chey Sua Carrot Cake is a popular stall dishing out just the white type of fried carrot cake that is pancake thin and crispy.

Housemade radish cake is used for this fried carrot cake. It is very soft and mushy, and it actually contains some tiny bits of carrot. These are pan fried with eggs until a golden crisp and served topped with chopped spring onions. The fried carrot cake is topped with a spread of flavourful chilli paste with notes of spiciness and sweetness. It is good!

This fried carrot cake is crispy outside, soft and mushy inside. Nice flavours too. Definitely one of the best fried carrot cake around. However, be prepared to wait for this plate of goodness. Mine took almost an hour, but it is well worth the wait. Just one word. Superb!
