Yong Tau Foo Chee Cheong Fun

Eat Tofu serves a decent selection of yong tau foo pieces with choice of noodles, rice or chee cheong fun. Above is with chee cheong fun and a selection of yong tau foo pieces.

The fish roll is fairly soft and tastes decent. The fish cake with a crab stick filling is very smooth and soft. It is nice. The fishball is quite smooth as well and has nice savoury flavours. The fish cake with tofu skin has rather soft fish paste and a slightly chewy skin. The fried wanton is soft though, it is reheated by boiling rather than frying. As for the chee cheong fun, it is rather smooth and springy. You can add your own sweet sauce and savoury tasting chilli sauce to it. It comes served with a bowl of savoury flavoured soup on the side.

This serving of yong tau foo chee cheong fun is rather nice.

Yong Tau Foo Laksa

Yong tau foo with laksa gravy is available as well. The fish paste yong tau foo items are all rather smooth and soft, and likeable. The laksa gravy is flavourful with a mild note of spiciness. I like the laksa version too.
