Red Snapper Lor Mee

The lor mee has a nice thick and starchy flavourful sauce that has a light tint of sweetness. It comes with chunks of red snapper fish meat, yam roll, braised pork belly slices and half a braised egg. It is served with thick yellow noodles with some bean sprouts. The standard chopped garlic, coriander, vinegar and a dried shrimp flavoured chilli are added as toppings.

The chunks of red snapper meat is moistv and meaty, and may contain some fish bones. The braised pork belly is is soft and meaty with some fatty parts. The yam roll, containing slivers of carrot, is crispy and flavourful. The braised egg is firm and has nice braised flavours. Not bad.

Cod Fish & Chicken Karaage Lor Mee

The above is essentially the cod fish lor mee with chicken karaage added as extras. The fried stuff: cod fish, chicken karaage and yam roll are served on a separate bowl. The bowl of lor mee comes with think yellow noodles with some bean sprouts and half a braised egg.

The cod fish has a nice crispy batter and moist meat. The chicken karaage has a crispy lighted coated crust with nicely flavoured meaty flesh. As for the yam roll, it contains bits of carrots, is crispy and flavourful. This is nice too.
