Hainanese Curry Rice

Just as its name states, Tiong Bahru Hainanese Curry Rice sells Hainanese style curry rice, where you can pick from an assortment of dishes. Shown here with curry rice is: crispy pork chop, ikan bilis and peanuts, fried egg and cabbage.

The curry rice is mildly spicy with nice flavours. The ikan bilis with peanuts are crunchy with a sweet taste, very nice! The surprise doesn’t stop here. Instead of just regular vegetables, the cabbage even comes with pieces of fu chuk.

Now for the star of this show, the famed crispy pork chop. This pork chop is sliced very thinly and deep fried until it is crispy, and very tasty too. It is so thin and crispy that you can eat it like a snack. This pork chop is highly recommended.
