Recommended eats at Tiong Bahru Market:
★★ Excellent!
- Tiong Bahru Tow Kwar Pop: Serving one of the tastiest rojak in Singapore since 1965.
- Zhong Yu Yuan Wei Wanton Noodle: A very famous and popular stall selling wanton mee with a constant queue. Defintiely one of the best in Singapore.
★ Good
- Chinatown Zhong Zhong Fine Spice: The usual selection of ngo hiang pieces. Their ngo hiang roll is nice.
- Granny’s Pancake: Chain store serving really nice min chiang kueh.
- Loo’s Hainanese Curry Rice: Popular stall that is well known for its hainanese curry rice. Truly enjoyable.
- Lor Mee 178: A very popular stall dishing out tasty lor mee with crispy chunks shark meat nuggets. Extra fried shark meat nuggets is a must!
- Min Nan Pork Ribs Prawn Noodle: Offering prawn mee in either dry or soup. Tasty!
- New Zai Xing Vegetarian Food: Well known stall serving vegetarian fried mee hoon and fried noodles with some sides. Good!
- Skirt & Dirt: Signature burger with juicy meat patty and a crispy cheese skirt. Sinfully delicious!
- Soon Lee Fish Soup: Fresh fish and seafood soups.
- Super Shiok Nasi Lemak: A selection of nasi lemak and dry mee siam. Both are literally super shiok!
- Tiong Bahru Hainanese Boneless Chicken Rice: Hugely popular stall serving wonderfully tasty chicken rice. Steamed chicken, roast chicken and chicken cutlet.
- Tiong Bahru Hainanese Curry Rice: Wafer thin and crispy pork chop. A personal favourite.
- Tiong Bahru Lee Hong Kee Cantonese Roasted: A selection of tasty cantonese style siu mei roasted meats with rice or noodles. Wanton mee too. Both thumbs up!
- Tiong Bahru Tau Suan: A trio of traditional desserts. All three tastes lovely.
