Hainanese Curry Rice

Tian Tian Hainanese Curry Rice does Hainanese style curry and pork chop with an assortment of other dishes to choose from. Shown here are: pork chop, fried prawns, char siew slices, stir fried potato slices and egg omelette.

The Hainanese curry is mildly spicy with a light sweet taste. The pork chop is considered thick for a Hainanese pork chop, bur it still tastes quite good. It is a thin slice of pork, deep fried in a crispy batter. Crispy outside, moist and tender meat inside with nice flavours. It is recommended as one of the mains.

The char siew is quite ordinary, slices of lean pork meat with a sweet char siew sauce that has a slightly salty taste. Likewise the fried prawns is average with a crust that is no longer crispy. The stir fried potato slices and egg omelette are just your regular stuff.

Although this is not the tastiest Hainanese curry rice around, it is still fairly likeable.
