Nasi Lemak.

108 The Nasi Lemak Shop serves a few nasi lemak sets. The above set comes with a piece fried chicken wing, a begedil, half a boiled egg, ikan bilis and peanuts, along with a serving of rice, a few slices of cucumber and chilli sauce.

The fried chicken wing is tender, juicy and flavourful with an airy and crispy batter and flavourful skin. It is topped with crispy fried batter bits. The begedil is filled with spices flavourings with a soft potato filling coated in a crispy egg batter. Both fried chicken wing and begeil taste good!

The ikan bilis is crispy and savoury, and the peanuts are crunchy. The serving of rice is rather flavourful, and it taste more like the kind used for hainanese chicken rice than the standard nasi lemak coconut milk rice. The chilli sauce is slightly spicy with a subtle tint of sweetness, and it pairs rather well with the rice.

Overall, this serving of nasi lemak is enjoyable and satisfying.
